Stella McCartney definitely showed us that the vibrant coloured eyelashes are back. Not only did I love the 70s’ vibe makeup touch but I was amazed at how her beautiful electric blues, materials, colours and details perfectly blended throughout the designs of the collection.

Several coats of an electric bright blue pigmented mascara were used for a fresh and natural beauty which ultimately matched Stella’s collection. The young and fresh look is the one to aim for and this is why blue lashes perfectly fit in when wearing very natural and discrete makeup enhancing facial features: light blush and lipgloss are just enough.

Don’t worry, the chances of you looking like an identity-seeking teenager are very low and on the contrary, blue mascara could be a great alternative to copper black mascara as it has great ways of opening up your eyes and making your eye-colour stand out (especially with light-coloured eyes – blues and greens).
